WHY I ADDED RETIREMENT LIFE COACHING TO MY REPERTOIRE -

Hi, I am Coach Carol, a retirement life design and succession planning coach & consultant.

I am on a mission to help people live their next chapters filled with joy, purpose and wellbeing. I have developed a unique framework and set of tools to empower people to actively shape their retirement lifestyle instead of leaving it to chance.

As a seasoned leadership coach and consultant, I guide leaders and business owners in developing the next generation of top talent. Many leaders are also preparing themselves for new strategic roles – and that is a good thing. But for the leaders pivoting toward retirement, it feels like many are unsettled given the unknowns. And while some have great aspirations for their next chapters, their dreams may go unfulfilled and that would be a downright shame.

So, I set out to address this gap. I got educated on the body of knowledge on retirement by earning a retirement life coaching certificate through an accredited program of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I created “take the RETIREMENT LIFE DESIGN challenge” coaching programs using my instructional design, writing and coaching skills. Along the way I faced challenges such as expanding my focus from working with companies to reaching out to individuals. Perseverance, personal reflection, collaboration and innovation – all hallmarks of my guided coaching style – have equipped me to successfully add retirement life coaching to complement leadership development or succession planning coaching.

Through guided self-reflection, intentional life design, and understanding the issues of aging and how to navigate them, my retirement life design coaching, whether or not it includes succession planning coaching, supports your successful transition to the retirement life you have dreamed of.
