Meet Carol

President of Bergeron Associates™

Carol Bergeron is a seasoned leader whose career embodies a profound dedication to guiding individuals, teams, and organizations through transformative periods. Her story is one of navigating three distinct careers each marked by its own set of challenges and triumphs.

Human Capital Champion – Carol’s career began in the fast-paced world of high-technology firms experiencing rapid, organic growth. As a human resources lead, she played a pivotal role in shaping talent strategies and essential human resources infrastructure. Drawing from her upbringing in a tech-savvy family, Carol adapted seamlessly to tech company culture, spearheading initiatives in employee engagement & development, total compensation, performance, and talent acquisition.

Her expertise proved invaluable during times of transition, from navigating shifts in company structures to facilitating global expansion strategies to elevating the human resources team to business partner. Carol’s contributions extended beyond human resources, as she actively contributed to strategic planning, business pivots, and merger integrations, solidifying her reputation as a strategic leader with a keen eye for talent development, deployment and change management.

Entrepreneur – Equipped with a wealth of experience and eager to broaden her impact, Carol embarked on her second career journey, founding Bergeron Associates – a consulting, coaching and facilitation firm specializing in leadership and organization development including strategic planning facilitation. Through her collaborative approaches prompting innovative solutions, Carol catalyzed positive change across diverse industries including life sciences, healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors.

In addition to her consulting endeavors, Carol embraced her passion for writing, authoring her debut book “People Succession: Lessons from Forward Thinking Executives in Middle-Market Companies” offering insights garnered from experience. Additionally, she authored a self-discovery workbook on designing a fulfilling retirement lifestyle to support her individual and small group coaching programs.

Community Leader – As Carol’s influence expanded, so did her commitment to community engagement. In concert with consulting, she took on board director roles where she leveraged her expertise to drive initiatives promoting gender parity and senior care. Notably, she co-founded an executive program aimed at advancing women in life sciences and advocated for the Scandinavian culture of care for seniors to enhance community well-being.

Throughout her journey, Carol remains dedicated to lifelong learning, community impact through collaboration, innovation, and strategic leadership, and leaving a lasting imprint on the lives of those she encounters.
