Carol Bergeron

Carol guides individuals, teams and organizations in navigating successful transitions through engagement that emphasizes self-discovery, collaboration, and innovation.  

With 25+ years’ experience in corporate, community, and business leadership roles, Carol works at the forefront of aligning vision, strategy, culture, and talent solutions. She has partnered with clients in professional services, life sciences, healthcare, technology, finance, and non-profits to lead successful change, increase leadership bench strength, implement succession planning, attain growth and scaling objectives, and launch new talent, business, and social responsibility initiatives.

As a certified retirement life coach, Carol helps individuals create rewarding retirement lifestyles, supports leaders in adapting to new roles while facilitating succession planning, and guides organizations in developing a strong talent pipeline, preserving institutional knowledge, and cultivating a pool of experienced flex workers.

Carol is the author of “take the RETIREMENT LIFE DESIGN challenge” – a workbook used exclusively in her group and one-on-one retirement life coaching programs. She also authored and speaks on the 7 phases of “People Succession: Lessons from Forward Thinking Executives in Middle-Market Companies”.

As a board director for The Scandinavian Charitable Society and Living Center of Greater Boston, Inc., Carol serves as Vice President; she previously served as chair of Governance committee and led a strategic planning initiative. As a strong believer in volunteerism, Carol continues to serve as Advisor and Co-Founder to the Healthcare Businesswomen’s New England Executive Exchange program and previously served HBA New England in board roles: inaugural Chair of NE, Interim President of Programming, and the Boston Chapter as: President, President-Elect, and Mentoring Program Director.

Through her roles as business owner/consultant, corporate leader, and board director, her reputation includes excellence in envisioning new strategic direction, leveraging human capital as a competitive advantage, innovation, transparent collaboration, and commitment to community.

On the weekends Carol enjoys bicycling, traveling, gardening, crafting, and cooking with her husband Bob and hiking with their energetic dogs – Wiley and Piper.
